The winter vomiting bug, also known as norovirus, is the commonest of all the stomach bugs in the UK causing misery for many thousands. It is highly infectious with over 1 million cases reported in December 2012. Spread of the bug is a significant concern causing hospital wards, care homes, schools and even cruise liners to come to a standstill. One of the best ways of treating norovirus is to let it run its course and to take measures to reduce its spread.

What is the prostate?

The prostate is a walnut sized smooth gland found inside the pelvis in males. The gland is responsible for producing a lubricating fluid which forms part of semen when it is ejaculated. The prostate surrounds your urethra (the tube coming from your bladder which allows you to wee) like a donut.
